Hiroshima, Japan - In Rememberance
A nice picture in remembrance of the atomic bombings in HIroshima and Nagasaki... 200,000 people lost their lives in a blink of a second, millions of others died afterwards due to radiation-caused cancers, hundreds of malformed newborn babies and disaster...
And after this paradigm of the history, US and a number of other governments still manufacture, sell and own nuclear weapons, becoming ready for the next upcoming disaster.
Will it be your place or mine? that is their decision

Ξεχάστηκε κιόλας???
Πόσες μέρες πέρασαν? Δέκα? Δώδεκα?
Κι όμως το θέμα της φωτιάς έχει ξεχαστεί... μπλέξανε επίτηδες ξανά τα σκάνδαλα για τα ομόλογα, ο αγαπητός κύριος πρωθυπουργός έβγαλε τα άπλυτα του ΠΑΣΟΚ στην φόρα για να θολώσει τα νερά, ενώ η οικολογική καταστροφή κρέμεται σαν δαμόκλειος σπάθη επάνω από τα κεφάλια μας...
Επίσης πολλά κανάλια άρχισαν την προπαγάνδα για την ανακύκλωση (σε πολύ αποδοτικό χρόνο, τώρα που όλοι οι άνθρωποι ανησυχούν για την επίπτωση στο περιβάλλον), που δεν λέω θα βοηθήσει, έστω και ένα πλαστικό μπουκάλι λιγότερο στα σκουπίδια θα κάνει καλό, αλλά, αλλού είναι τα " λεφτά". αλλού είναι η τεράστια κατανάλωση πετρελαίου, η τεράστια κατανάλωση ρεύματος, η τεράστια μόλυνση του περιβάλλοντος από ρύπους και τοξικά..
εκείνοι οι μεγάλοι πρέπει να κάνουν κάτι αλλιώς όσα μπουκάλια και αλουμινόκουτα και να ανακυκλώσουμε και εσύ και εγώ, δεν σώζουμε πια την κατάσταση.
Κάθε μέρα οδηγώ τον δρόμο πάνω στην Πεντέλη πηγαίνοντας στην δουλειά μου, και βλέπω τα μικρά πευκάκια δεξιά και αριστερά, προσπάθειες της αναδάσωσης της Πεντέλης μετά την μεγάλη φωτιά. μετά από τόσα χρόνια, μονό αυτά τα μικρά δεντράκια υπάρχουν, προσπαθώντας να μεγαλώσουν και να καλύψουν το φαλακρό βουνό.
Ξεχάστηκε η φωτιά στην Πάρνηθα, γιατί έχουμε και τον αρχιεπίσκοπο σοβαρά στο νοσοκομείο. Ο ίδιος ο πρωθυπουργός θα πάει να τον δει, και αν χρειαστεί θα μεταβεί στο εξωτερικό για καλύτερη παρακολούθηση με ιδιωτικό τζέτ, λες και όλοι οι υπόλοιποι χριστιανοί που υποφέρουν κάθε μέρα στα νοσοκομεία μας, και περιμένουν έναν μήνα για ραντεβού δεν έχουν αξία μπροστά στον αρχιεπίσκοπο....
ξεχάστηκε η φωτιά στην Πάρνηθα λίγο μετά που έσβησε ο καπνός και κατακάθισαν και τα αποκαΐδια και η στάχτη. Ξεχάστηκαν και τα ζώα που κάηκαν, αλλά και αυτά που επέζησαν αλλά θα πεθάνουν από την αδιαφορία μας...
Εγώ όμως πώς να ξεχάσω την λύπη μου όταν έβλεπα τον καπνό πάνω από το κεφάλι μου?
Πώς να ξεχάσω την πνιγηρή ατμόσφαιρα?
Πώς να ξεχάσω την στάχτη που πετούσε στον αέρα?
Πως να ξεχάσω τα πλάνα από τα καμένα δέντρα που έμοιαζαν με λυπηρό νεκροταφείο?
Πώς να ξεχάσω τα καημένα τα ελάφια που επέζησαν και κανένας δεν προσπαθεί να κάνει κάτι?
Πώς να ξεχάσω την αδιαφορία όλων των υπευθύνων (ή μήπως ανεύθυνων) που κυβερνούν?
Πως θα το ξεχάσουμε όλοι μας. όταν μετά από λίγους μήνες θα μας πνίγει το νερό της βροχής, ή η ζέστη? Α....Τότε όλοι θα ξαναθυμηθούν και την φωτιά και την απόδοση ευθυνών...Τότε θα είναι ένα θέμα που θα πουλάει.. Μεχρι να βρεθεί το επόμενο

αιωνία του η μνήμη....
Σε πύρινο κλοιό η χώρα μας, και όλα τα μεγαλοστελέχη τσακώνονται ο ένας με τον άλλο για να βρούν τις ευθύνες.... κανένας δεν φαίνεται να νοιάζεται για το δάσος που καήκε, παρα μόνο για να προβληθεί ο ίδιος και να προσβέλει την αναλγησία της κυβέρνησης και των πυροσβεστών.... ΕΠΙΤΕΛΟΥΣ !!!!!
Ας τα άφηναν αυτά όλα για μια μοναδική φορά....Ας άφηναν στην άκρη τις ευθύνες δεν είναι σοφό να κλαίς πάνω από το χυμένο γάλα...Καντε κάτι για το περιβάλλον που το έχουμε καταστρέψει χωρίς να κοκορευεσται για το τι κάνατε...Χωρίς όλα αυτά τα " ΘΑ..ΘΑ...ΘΑ". Θα μας φτιάξουν δάση από την αρχή, θα κάνουν τα πάντα ειδικά μέχρι να γίνουν οι εκλογές... Μετα θα ξεχαστούν όλα, και το δάσος και η αναδάσωση και όλα τα μεγάλα λογια καθώς και οι ευθύνες...
Δεν μπορώ άλλο με αυτή την κατάσταση της χώρας... Δεν μπορώ να κάθομαι και να παρακολούθω την καταστροφη απραγη...γιατι να καίγονται τα δάση και όχι όλοι αυτοί συμπουμπουλοι να καθαρίσει και η χώρα.??????
Μεγάλη κινητοποίηση έχει σχεδιαστεί για την Κυριακή στις 8 το απόγευμα μπροστά στην Βουλή...Βεβαια είναι όλοι τους τόσο χοντροπετσοι που δεν προκειται να γίνει τίποτα, όπως και κάθε φορά...
ειναι μεγάλο κρίμα....

ANOTHER USELESS STRIKE
Tuesday the 18th of May...
Dear Blog,
Another hot day over Athens, a day of general strike. Another strike that i will never understand. I want to say to all of these people, " seriously, SO WHAT? there are millions of problems in our society, a million environmental problems, a million problems with people who live beneath the limit or poverty, problems with the roads, the garbages, the rules, the justice the police, and there are people who strike for the reason that money has been stolen from the public Cash. Well everybody has at one time or another stolen money that belongs to the public. And this will always be happening here in greece. I don't think it is a great matter to have a strike about. At least not an important one when so many social problems are urging for solution...
who made a strike for the justice that has been disappeared? one cannot feel secure anymore and may soon take the justice on his own hands...
who made a strike for the destruction of our envirnment and all the disease it causes to our children?
who made a strike for the wages that are the lowest in Europe?
who made a strike about the garbage disposal grounds that are going to kill us soon?
no one
rather some people make strike about things that are already done and will continue to be done as this is the very costitution of our own nation. Everybody, every one of us is trying to find a way to steal from the goverment. but the money of the government is our own money..
everybody destroys public property like buildings, squares, roads, road signs, trains, buses etc but all of these are ours, so we are stealing and destroying our own property... How wise is that..
Well I disagree to all these strikes that have no point and will not change anything.. it is just an opportunity not to work, instead go for coffess and why not since the weather is nice, go swimming...
if at some point, people decide to really protest...about things that will matter and will make a change, then i will be part of it.. Otherwise it only disgusts me and nothing else.

Dear Blog,
It is a week today, a wekk that he is in Libya and I miss him so much. There have been a lot happening this weekat work, and i thought that these could take my mind of the time we are not together, but still i couldn't.
And there is another whole week to endure. I have also started wondering of the worthiness of my work and most especially my rewards. I recently got a raise in my salary, but I do not believe it is woth the time and the effort that i spend during the last 3 months or so. I feel that everybody now asks too much from me. And i am getting tired. the nature of my work is very nuce, and there are many things to do and offer, but i do not have a reward, at least the reward i think i should have.
Then i think of all these people that do not have a job, and do not have money and all these, and then i think yo myself: You are greedy...Am i? Maybe I am.
Or maybe I am just in a bad mood because i really miss Ilias a lot. I can't wait to be with him again. Hopefully, after his coming back, we could spend some time together...
And on top of all these, i have mu landlady and her fears. Her new fear now is snakes. She found a large green snake yesterday in our garden and she went crazy, starting to put sulphur everywhere in the garden to keep snakes away... what can I say? This society puts all these fears on us, that it is amazing how we manage to get on with everything. Now most people fear of so many things: of hunger, of obesity, of several diseases, of terrorist attacks, of biological warfare, of mobile phones, of global warming, of UFO... and the list can go on forever...My landlady has a fear of snakes atop of her fear of burglers...

There has been a long time
Since my last posting. i have nearly forgotten about my blog. but now that the weather is getting better, that summer is close ahead, i need to start writing again. I am happy with my man, it is really such a great pleasure to have somebody that you can talk to and you can trust. And I was so lucky to have found this one person in my life. He is the best thing that has eveer happened to me and my greatest joy is to be close to him.
Tommorow is the day that he leaves for Lybia for a mere 12 days, and i don't know how the time will pass. Lybia is a country thaat has no roaming capabilities, so it is so difficult to communicate with him by phone. Thankfully there is the internet and we can send emails to each other. God praise the Internet eh?
All the other aspects? My male budgie is well, very happy profoundly without his mistress, singing on his own every morning. Could you imagine a bird being so clever as to pretend being dead every time he gets pissed with something (for example the bright light in the room)? Well that is by budgie...
